This paper introduced the transformation of the vacuum system of high-speed paper machine which taked cultural paper production lives as an example, replaced the water ring vacuum pump with magnetic levitation turbine vacuum pump, optimized the corresponding process flow. Under the premise of ensuring the stable operation of the paper machine, the vacuum distribution and energy saving effect of the mesh and press parts of paper machine were analyzed. The results showed that the energy consumption of the vacuum system of paper machine decreased 30%, and the energy consumption of ton paper decreased 21 kWh.
